Bright Beginnings provides home and community based therapy that comes to you! No need to load up in the car. Allow me to come to your home, nearby playground, or your child’s preschool. This allows me to see your child in their natural environment (aka where they hang out most), and incorporate the space, toys, and routines they use everyday.

We are currently a private pay provider and an “out of network” provider for insurance companies. If you are seeking reimbursement from your insurance company, a Superbill (detailed receipts) can be provided and will have the treatment codes, diagnosis codes, and all of the necessary information. You may contact your insurance company directly to determine if they provide coverage for out-of-network assessment and treatment for occupational therapy services. Each insurance company is different and it is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to find out exactly what is covered.

Duration and frequency of therapy sessions are completely dependent on the individual needs of each client. There is no “one size fits all”. The OT evaluation will help determine the appropriate plan of care. On average, 45 to 60 minutes sessions, 1 to 2 times per week are most common.

The basic need for the majority of patients is an open space (living room, backyard, playroom, etc.) and an age appropriate table and chair. Please do not feel the need to purchase any special toys or equipment. I will work with what you have, and bring my own supplies, too. As I work with your child, I may make specific recommendations for things that are especially beneficial.
-
No. Although I am experienced in working with a variety of medical diagnoses, such as Autism, ADD/ADHD, genetic conditions, and developmental disabilities, your child may also just need some extra support to catch up with age appropriate skills. Many different kiddos can benefit from OT!
-
Every child’s timeline is unique. I will assure you, it is my ultimate goal to have your child “graduate” from OT, and do so as soon as they are ready. Specific, measurable goals will be created to monitor progress and readiness for discharge.
-
If your child participated in an occupational therapy evaluation within the past six months, we can work with their most recent evaluation to help create an individualized treatment plan and goals.
